The Current Situation

A number of possible developments that are likely to affect the long term future of Notting Hill Gate are currently in their formative stages. Firstly, the consideration being given by Land Securities/Delancey to redevelop/refurbish Newcombe House, Astley House, and David Game House. Secondly, the current proposal to alter No 74 at the junction of Pembridge Gardens and Notting Hill Gate. Thirdly, the consideration being given by the Council to generally upgrade the parts of the public domain such the road layout, the pavements, the pedestrian crossovers and the lighting following the success of its scheme in Kensington High Street. This Weblog has been set up to provide a platform for communicating what is happening and enable local residents, visitors to the area and anyone else to feed back their comments. This Weblog is linked to the NHIG website.
