New Developments in Notting Hill Gate

The Council has carried out a number of public consultations geared towards the production of a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) to guide future developments in Notting Hill Gate and a first draft is expected to be available for public consultation towards the end of 2013. The Council has been in discussion with the main land owners in Notting Hill Gate, Brockton Capital, Development Securities, Grantham Properties and the Pears Group, to try to get them to cooperate with the emerging SPD proposals. There is a dedicated page on the Council's website at  www.rbkc.gov.uk/nottinghillgate  covering what is happening. Proposals are also coming forward for the redevelopment of the Book Warehouse site, at the top of Pembridge Gardens, and Newcombe House and the adjacent west side of the top of Kensington Church Street. No planning applications have been submitted as yet but the developers have produced draft proposals that have been shown to local societies including the Notting Hill Gate Improvements Group. NHIG will be putting details up on its website when they have been made available by the various developers.
